We have been invited to be partners within Greenwich under the bids going forward within the National Plan for Music.
We have been obliged to change our name to Liquid Vibrations due to the fact that there are too many Good Vibrations out there who use music as practice for therapy and education.
We are currently applying for funding towards new sessions at two London schools for children with complex needs that will take place over two terms in 2012 and 2013.
The Institute of Education at the University of London have taken interest our activities and are conducting preliminary research and observations at our sessions at the Special School in Canterbury with a view to produce a documenting outlining the educational framework benefits for further research.
Good Vibrations are conducting underwater sound session at the hydrotherapy pool of a special school in Canterbury. Together with staff and teaching assistants these include story telling sessions in the classroom in order to increase the childrens’ awareness to narrative sounds.
